Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar (Height: 1,585 m)
Welcome to Srinagar, the crown jewel of Kashmir! Our friendly staff will greet you at the Srinagar Airport. They will take you to your charming houseboat on Dal Lake. After you check in and relax, enjoy a nice walk on Boulevard Road. This road has stunning views of the Zabarwan Mountain Range.
After that, enjoy a romantic one-hour Shikara ride on Dal Lake’s calm waters. The lake is surrounded by lotus flowers and floating gardens. If you have time, explore the local markets to find famous Kashmiri items such as papier-mâché crafts, saffron, walnut wood antiques, and pashmina shawls. Then, return to your houseboat for a peaceful night in the calm nature.
Day 2: Full Day Srinagar Sightseeing Tour (Height: 1,585 m)
After a delightful breakfast, start your city tour with visits to the most renowned Mughal gardens. Also, explore the magnificent Shalimar Bagh, built in 1619 by Emperor Jahangir. In addition to terraced lawns, the garden offers classic Mughal architecture, fountains, and beautiful flowers.
Next, visit Chashme Shahi, another magnificent Mughal garden famous for its colorful plants, picturesque walks, and natural spring. Take in Srinagar’s serenity and charm throughout the day. Come back to your hotel in the evening to enjoy a peaceful overnight stay.
Day 3: Srinagar to Pahalgam (88.8 km | Approx. 2.5 hrs | Height: 2,740 m)
After a tasty breakfast, start your journey to Pahalgam, a hidden gem called the “Valley of Shepherds”. As you travel, take in the sights of Kashmiri rural life and blooming saffron fields (in season).
Your first stop is the lovely Betaab Valley, where the Bollywood film “Betaab” was filmed. This valley is very stunning, with its green meadows, tall pine trees, and the scenic Lidder River.
Continue to Chandanwari (7 km from Pahalgam). This is the base camp for the Amarnath Yatra, situated at 2,895 meters. In winter, it becomes a snow-covered wonderland, perfect for sledding and glacier views.
Next, head to Aru Valley. This peaceful place is surrounded by beautiful routes and alpine peaks. The valley is famous for its trekking paths to Tarsar Lake and Kolahoi Glacier. It also offers heli-skiing and skiing, making it perfect for adventurers and nature lovers.
When you arrive in Pahalgam in the evening, check into your hotel. Enjoy dinner and relax with a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 4: Pahalgam to Gulmarg – (137.6 km | Approx. 3.5 to 4 hrs)
Have breakfast before checking out and going to Gulmarg, a beautiful place called the “Meadow of Flowers”. Gulmarg is famous for winter sports such as skiing and snowboarding. It also attracts honeymooners and adventure lovers.
Enjoy the thrilling Gondola Ride, the second-highest cable car in the world. It offers stunning views of pine trees and snowy mountains. Gulmarg is a great place to visit, whether you want to ski, snowboard, or enjoy the beauty of the snow.
After you check into your hotel in Gulmarg, enjoy a peaceful night surrounded by snow and calm.
Day 5: Departure – Gulmarg to Srinagar
After a tasty breakfast, check out and say goodbye to the beautiful region of Kashmir. After a wonderful 5-day honeymoon in paradise, our representative will take you to Srinagar Airport or Srinagar Railway Station if you want to take the Vande Bharat Train.

Payment Related Policy
You can make payments in many ways. These include UPI, cheque, demand draft, NEFT, RTGS, Google Pay, Paytm, PhonePe, wallet apps, bank transfers, debit card, and credit card. After you book your Kashmir tour package, please email us at info@kashmirholidaypackage.co.in. Include a detailed transaction receipt with your email.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy & Charges (Per Person)
- 45+ days before departure: 25% of the total tour package cost.
- 44–31 days before departure: 50% of the total tour package cost.
- 30–16 days before departure: 75% of the total tour package cost.
- 15–1 days before departure: 100% of the total tour package cost is non-refundable.
Terms & Conditions
Valid ID Proof: All travellers must have a valid photo ID that the government has approved.
Mobile Connectivity: For security rules, Prepaid SIM cards don’t work in Jammu & Kashmir; only postpaid connections are functional.
Check-in for flights: Counters close three hours before departure, so get there early to avoid problems.
Hotel Room: Extra beds will be provided in the form of mattresses. You can check in early or late, but only if there are rooms available.
Changes in Prices: All rates can change at any time without notice.
Free Shikara Ride in Srinagar Houseboats: Guests who stay in houseboats get a free Shikara ride. No extra fees are needed.
Local Sightseeing in Gulmarg & Pahalgam: The main sights are all within walking distance. You can choose to do ponies, sledding, rafting, and other things, and prices are very flexible—bargain for the best deal.
Use of Vehicles: Transportation is only provided according to the schedule. You will have to pay more for extra trips to go shopping, to the market, or to eat.
Room Occupancy: One room can accommodate a maximum of 4 tourists (2 adults + 1 extra bed + 1 child without a bed).
Water Use: Use water carefully because hotels and houseboats have limited water supplies.
Important Information for Gulmarg:
- If it snows a lot, you might have to switch vehicles at Tangmarg (14 km before Gulmarg). For a round trip, guests must pay INR 1,600 per snow jeep (7 passengers).
- Local union rules say that you have to book and pay for activities like gondola rides (Phase 2), zorbing, horse riding, and others directly.
- Horseman unions don’t let cars drop off guests at the Gondola station.
Important Information for Sonmarg:
- You can pay directly for rides to the Thajiwas Glacier, Zero Point, and horse riding.
- The road is closed in the winter past Gagangir.
Important Information for Pahalgam:
- You have to pay for horse riding and trips to Baisaran Valley directly.
- You need to take local taxis to get to Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari (prices are negotiable).
Food: Hotels will serve either set meals or buffet meals. You have to pay extra for heater charges.
Peak Season Advisory: Expect a lot of tourists from May to August. Please be patient while you check in and see the sights.
