Amarnath Yatra Route
There are two routes that are offered by the Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board (SASB). That would be Baltal to Amarnath, and then Pahalgam to Amarnath.

Baltal to Amarnath
This 14 km trekking includes Baltal – Domali – Barari – Sangam – Amarnath Cave. This is a quite small route; however, on most days, it takes only 1 to 2 days to complete. However, this route can be troublesome for most, and the access to it is mostly dependent on the weather conditions and the terrain of the region.

Pahalgam to Amarnath
This 38.6 to 48 km long trek starts at Pahalgam and goes through Chandanwadi to Pissu Top – Zoji Bal – Naga Koti – Sheshnag – Warbal – Mahagunas Top – Pabibal – Panchtami – Sangam and then finally reach the Amarnath Ji. It is the best route for senior citizens and people who have little to no experience of trekking.
