Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar
A staff member will greet you warmly at Srinagar Airport or Railway Station. They will take you to your hotel. After checking in and resting a bit, enjoy a lovely shikara ride on Dal Lake, surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Sip a cup of authentic Kashmiri kahwa tea while enjoying the beautiful scenery. You will pass by the floating market during your ride.
Next, visit the stunning Shalimar Bagh Mughal Garden, which is covered in snow in winter. After that, enjoy a traditional Indian meal. Later, explore the busy markets in Srinagar. You can buy walnuts, paper-mâché crafts, saffron, pashmina shawls, and beautiful Kashmiri woodwork. Finally, return to your hotel and spend the night there.
Day 2: Srinagar to Gulmarg
After breakfast, check out and head to Gulmarg – “The Meadow of Flowers” and a snow lover’s paradise. When you arrive, head to the serene Alpather Lake, which is situated between two peaks and remains frozen from November to June. Next, go to the Gulmarg Biosphere Reserve, where you can see rare animals like musk deer, snow leopards, and upland birds. Check in at your Gulmarg hotel in the evening for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 3: Gulmarg Sightseeing & Adventure
After breakfast, prepare for an exciting day in Gulmarg. Enjoy the world-famous Gondola ride, the second-highest cable car in the world. It offers stunning views of the snowy Himalayas. Adventure lovers can also try skiing, snowboarding, or sledging on Gulmarg’s soft slopes. Gulmarg is the best place for winter sports activities. Day 4: Departure from Gulmarg to Srinagar
